Transforming CDP Scores – A Case Study
Learn how we supported Restaurant A in their guidance and implementation of initiatives across their teams, transforming their CDP score and moving the needle on sustainability.
Happy help organisations to be more successful by making their workplaces more positive and productive. To do this, they provide great experiences in workplace consultancy, training and apprenticeships across leadership, personal development and IT.
What Happy needed:
Happy is committed to making a positive difference in the world, and this includes making a positive impact on the environment. As a certified B Corp, they need to demonstrate this commitment as part of their recertification process. They also found that that their clients increasingly want to know how they are planning to achieve Net Zero. So, it was the right time for them to make sure they have an accurate picture of their environmental impact and to plan their next steps.
Our Process of Innovation:
As a small company, Happy were aware that they didn’t have the expertise in house to properly assess their carbon footprint and the steps needed to address their environmental impact. Our expert consultants were able to therefore deliver a bespoke Net Zero Strategy for Happy with ambitious targets, including climate literacy training to embed sustainability across the organisation plus data collection support and their supply chain assessments.
Outcomes and Benefits for Happy:
Happy have now measured their position at the start of their Net Zero journey and the steps they need to take to achieve it. For example, they will be looking at how they offset the impact of the travelling their trainers undertake to client’s sites outside of the UK, and working on their supplier list to ensure they are using suppliers who support their journey.
Happy are pleased that they can now demonstrate to clients their current environmental impact and the steps they are taking to reach their Net Zero target.
Happy was in the early stages of reviewing its sustainability when Energise approached us about their own learning needs. As they are experts on helping companies achieve Net Zero, we chose to partner with them to assess our environmental impact and where we can improve. They have provided us with a range of informative workshops for us to learn more about our carbon footprint and to discuss our targets and objectives. They have also worked with us on a supply chain assessment so that we can ensure we have thoroughly measured the impact of our activities. We look forward to implementing their recommendations to help us achieve Net Zero and working together to ensure Happy is fully sustainable going forward.
