Energy Roadmap

Why is an Energy Roadmap important?

An energy roadmap will help your business understand where it is using energy, allowing you to make data-driven decisions to reduce your energy consumption.

Reducing your energy consumption will also reduce your spending on energy. To help you make the right decisions, we will show you how much money each recommendation could save you each year and what the expected return on any investments would be.

How do Energy Roadmaps move you closer to Net Zero?

Reducing your energy consumption will lower the scope 1 and 2 emissions of your carbon footprint. Having a clear plan in place to reduce the emissions you are in direct control of will free up time and other resources for you to tackle harder scope 3 emissions in your value chain.

How we can help

1. Energy Portfolio and Baseline
We start by creating an energy baseline for your entire portfolio. This baseline serves as the foundation for understanding your current energy consumption and identifying areas for improvement.

2. Targets & Action Plans
Next, we collaborate with you to set ambitious but achievable energy targets for your portfolio and, should you wish, individual sites too. We will provide recommendations aimed at minimising energy usage and improving operational efficiency to help you achieve your targets and work with you to set a programme of actions.

3. Scenario Modelling
We then develop an energy scenario model that projects your portfolio’s energy usage over the coming years. This model considers your established targets and planned actions, providing a clear vision of your future energy landscape.

4. Reviewing
Each year, we will review energy use across your portfolio to review whether you are on track to meeting your targets and identify potential risks & opportunities.
