Newtyne partnered with Energise to strengthen their sustainability credentials through EcoVadis certification.

They accessed tailored consultancy and strategic guidance. In their forth EcoVadis submission, they achieved a Silver rating and demonstrated improvements. Beyond that they further embedded sustainability into their core operations.

Newtyne's EcoVadis certification challenge

Newtyne, a small-to-medium-sized data consultancy with a remote workforce, aimed to improve their EcoVadis rating for the fourth consecutive year. Recognising that the assessment had become more challenging due to a revised rating system, they sought to deepen their understanding of the EcoVadis certification process. To support this they also wanted to  kickstart the cultural change journey needed to take their sustainability journey to the next level.

The Energise EcoVadis consultancy approach

Each Energise customer works with a dedicated project lead. We start by understanding what you want to achieve from the work. For Newtyne, this included their EcoVadis ambitions and a desire to  integrate sustainability more fully into their business culture.

Our consultant Vibs quickly identified improvement areas. She reviewed their documents and helped make them clearer and better matched to EcoVadis requirements.

Vibs also shared useful tools and templates to make the process easier. She gave practical advice—like how to format, date, and brand documents. More than process improvements, Newtyne were supported in approaching sustainability more strategically. This was a key outcome for them.

Vibs has helped set us on a path to view sustainability, not as a ‘nice to have’, but as an essential and integral part of our strategic thinking and business planning.

Consultancy results and impact

Newtyne maintained their Silver EcoVadis rating. They improved their score from 68/100 in 2023 to 72/100 in 2024 and advanced from the 91st to the 92nd percentile.

This shows Newtyne’s commitment to improving year after year. It also highlights the impact of Energise’s EcoVadis consultancy. With a stronger foundation, Newtyne is ready to keep building on their sustainability success.

Having completed three EcoVadis assessments with impressive scores, we commissioned Energise. Vibs supported us all the way. She provided expert analysis and industry insight.
