Set up as a result of the 2015 climate negotiations, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) is a working group with a record of creating disclosures that companies can use to demonstrate climate resilience, and thus increase their investment opportunities.
The key target audience for these recommendations are investors and private equity partners, who will be benefit from a toolkit to measure whether the climate-related risk has been priced in to the valuation of companies appropriately.
To help you digest the report published by the TCFD, we've summarised the 11 recommended disclosures across its four key elements (Governance, Strategy, Risk Management and Metrics + Targets).
If yours is an organisation which may want to move from a typical position of just collating Scope 1 & 2 emissions to full conformity with the TCFD disclosure recommendations, we've designed just the Pathway to follow.
