Our science-based target is now approved!

Energise’s science-based target has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative and we are very proud to join more than 1000 companies who are walking the walk on climate science!

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a partnership that ensures companies’ emissions reduction targets are consistent with achieving a Net Zero world by no later than 2050 and that they are aligned to a 1.5°C future.

We will continue to pursue a sustainable future and look after our shared planet by letting science inform our course of action.
As a company, we are committed to:
  • Reducing emissions in line with what’s required to limit average warming to 1.5°C;
  • Reducing our scope 1 and scope 2 emissions 46% by 2030 (from a 2019 baseline year);
  • Measuring and reducing our scope 3 emissions;
Our team is now in an excellent position to support our customers through similar validation processes and continue to encourage them to align their strategy to a 1.5°C world.

If you have any questions about the Science Based Targets initiative or our own journey with SBTs. get in touch at gonetzero@energise.com. You can also visit our SBTs Hub for more information on the process.
